I’m looking forward to buy a theme. I’m actually taking a decision between Bangkok Press by Goodlayers, and Ares Blog Magazine by peerapong
There’s just something I’d like to know.
I want to modify the theme as much as I can for my blog, but when in the “ThemeForest Files Included” Ares Blog magazine just has: CSS , JS and PHP Files.
Whether in Bangkok I have: Layered PSD , JPG Image, HTML , CSS, JS and PHP Files
I don’t know about Layered PSD or JPG Image, but I imagine that not having the HTML can restrict me from making some changes in the template.
P.S.: It’s for a worpress blog.
A WordPress theme has PHP files, not HTML . Of course, a PHP file in a WP theme has, besides PHP code, HTML mark-up. Also, it’s quite obvious both have JPG files, since those are images. I guess one of the authors decided to be more fair and less salesy when listing the contents of the package. I also think HTML refers to the documentation file, which has nothing to do with the actual theme files.
So, you’ll be editing PHP , JS and CSS files. The only difference I see here is that one author also offers the Photoshop source file, which may come in handy.
Hope this helps
Thank you very much!
