So today, My first item was finally accepted onto CodeCanyon.

I joined ThemeForest 3 months after I had completed my course in web development. Back then, I thought to myself that this was the easiest way to make money. In February 2013, I signed up for ThemeForest.

Some weeks later, I submitted my first ever website, It was rejected. I thought to myself, was I that bad? And when I look at that design now, It really looks like a horror movie to me.

I tried over and over again, in the end, I got tired. I started looking for freelance opportunities and started doing that. but even while freelancing, I would still try submission in ThemeForest, it was my dream to get into it. I was not successful.

Last november, I decided to give one last try, I submitted something on codecanyon, and to my surprise, it had a good review, but a hard rejection. I tried a little more on the features, but it my second try was also a hard rejection. I lost hope. I stopped thinking about themeforest or any affiliated website. But still felt like I should contact support.

The support team asked me to resubmit the item, which I did. But the shock I received was 5 hours ago, my item was soft rejected! Their review helped me.

And I am happy to say, after 10 months, I am glad to have an item accepted :D

And to all those who are trying, don’t give up. We are all developers, and designers, If I could do it, you can too. Try doing better, familiarize with the already submitted items. Good luck :D

I’m already loving it :D And hopefully would start making more on CodeCanyon, maybe later on ThemeForest too. :)

Yes I had full intentions of giving up, but after I left, I received an email from a thread I had made on codecanyon asking for help on this item. And thats when I knew giving up was stupid, instead I contacted support :p
