Hi there!

I am uploading my first ever graphic file. It’s a simple kitty logo made with Inkscape. Please feel free to comment on it with painful honesty. I am new at this and am here to learn and improve, so please hit me with your critiques.

By the way this file was created with Inkscape – does any of you make files for the envato marketplaces with Inkscape? What’s the best format to export to?

Anyway, here’s the file i 4 versions

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Simon

Export it to .eps format (standard)

Look nice, but I am not sure this will be accepted into the logo category, try making more expressions of the “kitty” and create mascots out of this.

It’s a great illustration, but like ShermanJackson said above me, you should make different expressions. Envato doesn’t always accept files that have few items with it, showing different ways it can be used and different concepts in my opinion would make it stronger :)

thanks for the pointers. I’ll see what the reviewer comes with – i’ve been hanging with a 100% upload progress bar but still just-not-reviewed status.. I’ll eventually try to make more expressions and put it in illustrations category rather than in the logos.

Thanks for your feedback – envato has such a great community!
