This is not good news for me and not a fix really. Sorry, but removing something is not fixing it! Also saying that the information that you provide now is better and less confusing isn’t true. Giving less information is not less confusing!
I don’t see what is the problem of showing our items queue position (this “old” solution seems to be the best for me). Why don’t you simply add this info and put a help link under with an eventual explanation for moving items up/down on the queue?
I truly and honestly believe when you say that there are no preferred authors on queue (I don’t see a valid reason for pushing some items up or down), but when you start giving less information, you give room to this type of thoughts.
Please consider keeping the different info you want to show now, but please add our queue position info like the good old days :)

At least we need something like actual average review time indicator in our dashboards. It will help in planning releases. Just one simple example. Do you remember how long was queue lenght in November and December? Almost 14 days. If we had not clear average review time statistic, just imagine how much trouble we will have releasing Christmas music for example. Few days later and you lose your sales. Too early – same results. Older upload bar helped a lot in determining this numbers – 1 day or 3 days of 14 days of review time.

I think this is good news for several reasons:

  • Firstly, no longer need to be nervous in anticipation of the “green line”
  • Secondly, now do not need to create a forum AJ meaningless topics such as “how long now accept files ..” etc.
  • Third, reduced traffic generated by the authors, because it does not bring anyone income, only the load on the servers of Envato.
  • Fourth, I think that the new version is no longer there technical problems, because it is a text
  • Fifth, it is a professional solution – nothing more, just functional.

It is professional to remove a feature and called it fixed? Also it is professional to state the obvious? After I submit an item I know it is in review status, does it help me to see just a single word status saying my item is in review?

Or your comment was ironic? :D Doru need some help here, I think i’m transforming into Sheldon

when posts have arguments then is awesome :) even if one is not of the same idea

but your second argument is wrong. people will continue to make threads about how much time it takes for their items to be reviewed. It doesn’t change nothing, actually it may be worse, because with the bar, after one day you can see visually how much it moved and make yourself an idea of the time remaining.

Now there is no information about this. So threads will still be made.
