when posts have arguments then is awesome :) even if one is not of the same idea

but your second argument is wrong. people will continue to make threads about how much time it takes for their items to be reviewed. It doesn’t change nothing, actually it may be worse, because with the bar, after one day you can see visually how much it moved and make yourself an idea of the time remaining.

Now there is no information about this. So threads will still be made.

Of course, it would be nice to have information on how to check the files for a long time at the moment. It is necessary to know in order to determine the most convenient time of placing the tracks. It is well known that the tracks are sold worse on weekends. Therefore, the best option would be the appearance of the track on Monday. This factor is important for AudioJungle. This is the only thing which requires a graphical indicator. Perhaps the developers will add this option in the form of numeric values. For example, “your order number in the queue is …”

ThisĀ“s why Envato is the best marketplace for authors and buyers! Always innovating and concerned in imorove it. Keep it up with the good job!

@Scottwills, look at the above comment. Did you realize what you actually written in the title and description?

Following line is the announcement made on every authors dashboard and many authors not even grasped what was written in this thread description:

“We’re fixing the broken item upload progress bar, see how it’s changing.”

Semantics, especially when the post explains in full detail, but I totally agree! We’ll continue to pay careful attention to titles to ensure that they are not misleading in any way, certainly never our intention. For the record, we used “We’re fixing the broken item upload progress bar, see how it’s changing” on the Author Dashboard so I suspect we used brevity simply for the forums. But totally understand your point, thanks again for mentioning it!

Hey Scott :)

Just found this thread, not sure if it’s been mentioned, but an ability to update the package or item page description whilst the item is in the review queue would be amazing, though this is probably beyond the scope of what this update was for.

Either way, sweet!

Taking out the progress bar can’t be called “fixing” guys ! .... BTW it worked fine for me so far !! .. I personally think should leave it as it is and work more on the search engine !

Uploading time is a crucial part of selling strategy. So is really important to have a progress indicator to decide next steps. I would like to know how is configured the revieving process, how many reviewer are working on a specific marketplace, what’s the average reviewing per day, how a project can be been assigned to a specific reviewer, an so on. Maybe there is already a thread on this argoument but I’m sorry, i didn’t Find it

Thanks for the feedback, Ninja! Did you see Collis’ Marketplace Roadmap for 2014? “Finding What You Want”, which includes improvement to search, is definitely part of our plans for this year. :)

Lots of recent changes with the Review Team for sure! Not sure about all of those specifics you mentioned, toolpusher, but I know we already have plans to talk more about the Review Team in a future blog post.

Hi Tom! This is definitely something we’ve got documented internally as a future, potential upgrade to the system. Just so there’s no confusion here, I’m not saying this is going to happen, I’m just saying that it’s something we continue to think about and prioritize accordingly. I’m not seeing it as something on our immediate horizon, but definitely something that’s been brought up several times before and can really help offer additional value to authors.
