Flash and Drop Down Menu's

Hey I dunno if there is anyone out there that has had this problem. I am trying to place a flash banner underneath a top menu in Joomla. With the flash there, the menu drop downs are showing behind the flash. Is there a fix to this?

When you embed the flash file, make sure you use :

<param name="wmode" value="transparent" />

This way, the menu will show in front of the flash file. Hope this helps. If you’re still confused, message me.

I looked up wmode transparent and seen the uses for it. I also tried using the “opaque” method. It still showed the menu drop down’s behind the flash. It also may be of more use to tell you that I am using the custom module and not embedding it into the index.php file.

I have had this problem before, I think what fixed it was changign the export options of Flash and then setting somethign within the HTML tag.
