Would anyone here know both :
1.) How to install Flash Debug Player For Mac?
2.) Where to FIND the installer for flash debug player for Mac?
I’ve looked all over the place for it. Its not even on Adobe’s website. They have the app, but not the installer. This sucks. I keep getting my template rejected because of a runtime error I can’t find when I test it. I need the debug player. I also need to get some sleep, so be quiet when responding to this thread.
Not sure if this is what you already have but the windows one here installs itself (I think) http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
I’ve just sent you an email about that error
You shift to mac ?
It doesn’t matter if its mac or window on Debug Player, try debug movie on the control see if you get something .
But i am sure theflyingtinman will tell you soon what is the error

That’s what I read somewhere long time ago. But I suppose that was because of the new FP10 .1 that was specifically for Intel based Mac architecture. But the link that Sike posted worked perfectly. It was just what I was looking for, and couldn’t find no matter how hard I looked.
Thank you Sike. I now have the debug player installed.

How hard did you look? .. That same link is on the page in the link I posted yesterday; the first link under “Mackintosh”
I looked until I couldn’t take getting no good results and got frustrated. I remember thinking, “why doesn’t adobe have it on their website”? I could find the debug player application, but not the installer. So no matter how many times I tried downloading the debug player, without installing it, the player was pretty much useless. I looked for a pretty long time, doing all types of searches. I don’t know why I couldn’t find it though.
EDIT
Oh yeah, I saw that link. But I couldn’t download it because it says specifically, “for Intel Macs”. I have a PowerPC Mac, not an Intel Mac. I could go for a big mac right now.

So it says “For Intel Macs” but works on PowerPCs? That’s weird.

I just checked, and I guess it does. But I was reluctant to trust it to do so because, I thought it wouldn’t work for PowerPCs. The link that Sike posted may be the same one, but it doesn’t say for Intel Macs, so I tried it out. Weird.
Oh, and it runs a bit slower than the regular flash player.
