Just see this picture in Lee’s blog:
I think many flash developers definitely buy the iPad if Apple add Flash support.

I think that post has around 500 comments now. Obviously a hot topic.
I don’t think this thing is going to hurt our industry one bit. After all, it’s not a real computer by any stretch of the imagination. But were they to release a V2 that acts more like a computer and are able to keep the price reasonable, if it doesn’t have the the Flash plugin it could have a huge impact on our industry.
This is why I think we need to be proactive and stop supporting Apple products now. And Adobe should throw away CS5 iPhone app feature as well. You have to fight fire with fire.
I agree with you Jack. I also don’t think the “fight” between Adobe/Apple should result in customers’ dissatisfaction because after all they’re the people who buy their products. I only hope they sort it out. +1 on the CS5 feature removal.

A comment from Lee there..
Apple is not cooperating in our attempts to improve the performance of the Flash Player on the Mac. Microsoft is, and in FP 10 .1 we cut the CPU utilization in half for watching video. Same with other mobile device manufactures. We would love to work with Apple to do the same but they are making a strategic decision not too so that they can increase their revenue. Hey that’s business.
haha its hilarious that they say “the ultimate web browsing experience” and they can’t load flash!

Dang, secretly I’ve been hoping that Apple has had flash running on future iPhones and this iPad but that doesn’t sound good at all. Come on Apple. Flash won’t take away form the App store.

ha, someone thought that adult website screenshoot is not funny, poor Lee, is hard to work for Adobe, there’s always a possibility that some angry boss would call you and make you censorship you’re own art. If I was Lee I just put other two adult website screenshot in there, but I’m not so I will just let him do how he thinks is political correct.

It looks like Apple’s sending a pretty big message with this one too. It appears they’ve gone back through the p[romo video and anything that was flash content on the NYT is now the broken lego icon. There are way too many flash elements to websites for apple to keep ignoring it. Not to mention all the great content we’ve created here.
Well, without Flash support, I’m definitely not buying iPad. iPad without flash = iFail

some people trashed him for that but the reality is that people want adult content on their mobile devices so I thought it was completely appropriate.
