That is a suprise. But looking at License https://github.com/woothemes/FlexSlider/blob/master/LICENSE.txt I don’t see any reasone to not use it in our themes.

No offence but if that slider became non GPL nobody would lose that much sleep over it. LOL

I would. It’s a great responsive slider – one of the best.

I looked into it earlier today when I saw the announcement, and I don’t think the license has changed (just the copyright), so we can still use it. Not really sure why Woo needed to “acquire” it to be honest (though it is great of them to compensate the author – just not sure why they need control).
