Flickr images - Creative Commons but non-commercial

I would put the photos on my demo page, but not include them in the files. I think that’ll be legal, but i’m not an expert on licences.

Non Commercial! You can’t use images that have the nc tag on the licence. It’s pretty hard to find collections of awesome images free for use in commercial projects – You save a lot of time if you buy the ones that gives you that licence.
Also… you will always need to contact the person that shares images for non-commercial purposes. I found artists that had that option there by mistake – not good.

No, that is not legal. Just images licensed for commercial use.

Argh ! I made a mistake in the prev post. This is the right text ^

Always take a screenshot of license on the page where you find image. That’s your evidence for legality in case license is going to change later and you don’t know that on time.

Very easily changed in firebug etc. Not sure on the legality of this.

Doozer, your best bet is to just purchase images from photodune etc.

Best way is to get the approval is at least by personal email.

Photodune is great this month – half prices! Make stocks!

Yeah, you should ask for approval author of the free photo especially when it’s photo of people. Actually you need model release in that case.

I have a question for you guys with more experience in buying photos. I also bought some images from photo stock agencies other then photodune but I never got anything except purchased photo so I’m a bit confused. How can I prove that I actually bought that photo?
