Hey All,

Here’s the cause:

“Unfortunately your submission Reggae Gnome Fest – Print Flyer Template isn’t quite ready for GraphicRiver.

Additionally, we have some extra feedback for you:

The flyer design looks interesting although a bit more work is require in the typography here.

You need to clean up the design a bit more, organize the elements and improve the typography layout design.”

Here’s the flyer:

Any suggestions?

If i were you , i would change these things :

1.Apply the same text style to reggae (same as gnome ) 2.Your background is a bit dull , you might want to make it a bit more live 3.your bottom text seems so plain , try different colors and styles .

That’s it , i think if you fixed these stuff your item will get approved , if not you will get closer to approval .

twisteddna,

Many thanks for the ideas. The “Reggae” actually uses the same style as the Gnome and Fest. It’s one layer style applied to the text stack. Think it should be changed?

Here are some of the changes I’ve tried:

I’m thinking about providing potential purchasers with these 2 different color schemes

Let me know if you all feel I’m on the right track…

twisteddna,

Hmmm. It seems more work does need to be done with the bottom typography. I submitted these and they were soft rejected. I’m trying to figure out just what about the lower text looks off. Is it the main performer “Island Gnomes” area that needs work? Or perhaps all of the text below? Or the entire lower section?

Having edited the lower text’s alignment and location in the second version and getting negative feedback, now I’m starting to wonder if the entire lower area will have to be reworked.

Font size, font face, positioning, etc; let me think…

Amrhamza,

Actually, all of the elements in this file are vectors (photoshop shape layers); some with certain Photoshop effects applied to them. This makes the entire thing scalable to whatever size the user is looking to make it.

Do you think that, even though this is a print flyer, it should be submitted to the vector category? I should check the category to see if it has flyers, posters, or other printable sub-categories in it.
