Depends if the followers are buyers who like your music and want to hear your next tracks, or just other authors who won’t buy anything, I guess. Most of my followers are authors. :D

Would’t it be better that followers are getting a mail when you release a new item ? Why else would they following you. In that case the more followers the better.

For now it is indeed just the ego :-)

What I find strange is when someone follows you, then “unfollows” you, even if you haven’t released any item recently…I can’t find a logic reason for this :)
