Keep us up to date.
i like starling ,but i think if a developer want develop a game only use starling it’s very hard. like there is no mouseevent under the starling display object
thanks for this link.check it out now
Let me tell you this ;as the time goes by I really start to fall in love with the starling framework that f* GPU rendering make the old flash performance look like my grandmother , I mean that’s the only thing I do in the last few weeks, thing is now if I look at the IDE I ask myself why we need it ? For sure everything aiming into flash builder, also there is a lot of shaking need to be done forgetting the old as3 flash habits and use the Starling event class .
Also why do you care about MouseEvent ?when you really going to use mostly the touch event .
Right tsafi, Starling is really big.
I hope my new game gets through the review this week. You have to have a look at it. It is technically the most advanced Air app I ever created using Starling extensively. Landscape and portrait mode support, 3 screen sizes (iPhone4, iPhone5, iPad), multi-touch, and three languages (English,Spanish, and German).
^Give me a buzz when you get through the review ill check it out .
Also let me ask you, are you using any kind of emulator screen to check on multiple device with FB ? with the iPcrap it’s not a problem cos` its only 3 devices but with the android it’s just crazy and I want to test on few resolution option, on the old cs5.5 they had nice emulator screen, too bad the remove it on the latest version …
Also let you know IOS version was just update to 6.1
Well, it is on the App Store now. However since you have an iPhone 4 / iPad 2 I recommend to wait for the next update. There are some memory issues that cause the app to crash on older devices. Got some terrible ratings cause of that already. 512 MB of ram is very little if you want to take advantage of Retina to the max (and 200 MB of these 512MB are already used up by Siri and the iOS).
on day 2 it is rank #2 in Germany and rank #3 in Austria in the word games category. That is a nice surprise!
