hmmmmm, so only authors can buy your theme? i don’t think that’s a good idea. even though they are satanish, they’re still our customer, or your customer rather. They’re the reason why we can afford things such as anything. anyway, that’s just my opinion.

I believe that was discussed some time ago and at the end we declined it.

There are some threads that we might not want everyone to see (such as “Customers from hell” would be for example :) )
Well, that’s preposterous! We should have a private forum for flaring at customers?

That was just a little example, widen your perspective a bit.

What if i someone has a bug he doesn’t know how to fix in his theme, if he posts on the public forum he might lose credibility with the customers who see it. (there are some authors who don’t mind helping out a bit).

What if we want to discuss about an issue of a specific item.

What if we want to discuss bigger prices.

There are a lot of stuff that can be discussed about between authors only.

...

So, you’re really telling me you can’t find a single purpose for a author only forum? Ok.

I can’t imagine how an author willing to fix a big in his theme for his buyers might loose credibility. And many of the buyers are authors themselves.

I don’t think the rules for the author forum would be much different: No item references.
What if we want to discuss bigger prices.
That has also been discussed, even buyers supported it.

I can’t, sorry. :)
