Forum theme idea

Hi,

I need some inspiration for a forum theme. I don’t want to create a typical forum with forums and threads in list view. I have the idea to create a community with stylish frontend but with a forum backend. I think this is the best way. Here some styles I prefer:

What about the forum? Now you can get a free consulting because i stopped working for Envato.

I want to use phpBB3 because this is one of the best forums for coding nice stuff in a theme.

I mean what is the subject of the forum, because when you choose a style it should be on the concept. Technical part is an another thing. It’s about coding?

I want to make a Audi forum for a german community.

Ah… you mean its about car. Is there only with brand new cars and up to date technology or also something old-type tunings like the legendary quatro?

Use vanilla, much better than the others.

I am a theme developer for them, and you can totally reskin it with just css

Its about every Audi. Audi Meetings, News, Tuning, Talk, Photos and so on

Yep this was my first idea. But.. is Vanilla great for very big communities and are there plugins like Blogs, Photoalbums, Userprofiles and thinks that modern forums also have?
