I want a single HTML5 Theme which cost 15$

i dont want anything else
i dont want to have an account here with money on
i dont want to deposit money before puchasing
i dont want to deposit more money than i need to make 1 purchase

i want to buy 1 freaking theme

okay okay – i can use Paypal and pay 2$ extra… dammit

Why call it a “market place” – as if i have anything to sell ?

I suspect 99% of people are either Sellers or Buyers – and only 1 % being both.

Why make it harder than it needs to be for customers to puchase what they want / need ?

i don’t get it.

Then purchase the theme with +$2. Simple as that.

You can sell too. Everyone can sell as long as they’ve got the skills it takes to create a product. That’s why it’s called a marketplace.

What do you find so hard in the purchasing process?

I ended up using the Paypal option.

I find it ridicolous that i can’t deposit an arbitrary number, eg: 15$ instead of being forced to deposit 20-30 $ – which apparently expire after 1 year.. Such kind of practice is what i would define as stealing !!!!

I can’t fathom why 15$ can’t be deposited, when 20$ can, the money is supposed to be used for purchasing stuff on the site – not gather interests.

Although it has been discussed to death already on here – the 1 year expiration thing is a legal requirement because they are not a bank. Plus it can all be reinstated on request.

The reason for deposits is that even if you made $5 amounts available it would not solve the problem – many many files are $13, $18 etc so you will ALWAYS end up with left overs.

Hope that clarifies some of your concerns

Stop whining for goodness sake!

As in most cases when you deposit money into a store card/wallet there is always an expiry date.

This marketplace is so cheap that it is robbery for authors not buyers…

As for the limitations on how much to input into your account is because Envato are being generous by saying if you deposit $20 or more we will take the hit on PayPal charges else you can take the $2 hit by just paying for the item using PayPal just for 1 item.

I am a believer for the $2 surcharge as the prices on here are so low why should Envato pay for the fees that apply, if you dont want to pay the extra fees then simply dont buy.
