Full Width Modification for Twicet Wordpress Theme

As a current user of this theme, I know there is no ‘standard’ built in full page template.

The easiest way to modify the theme is to edit page.php:

1.) Add this code immediately after <?php (line 1):

/* Template Name: Full Width */

2.) Change

3.) Remove <?php get_sidebar(); ?>

Save as template_full_width.php

Done!

Update to previous post: The instructions in #2 are missing and I can’t edit the post.

To make life easier I have made a Full Width template and put it online to use.

Unzip this file and upload to your theme directory.

Note: If it doesn’t show up after uploading, try activating the default theme then re-activating the Twicet theme. It should show up now.

This should be obvious, but this is one file of the theme so if you haven’t bought Twicet it won’t help you…

Made my life easy.

James great fix. I do have a question. the full page doesn’t seem to take with my contact page. Any ideas why? Thanks!
