Nice job! (just curious, is it acceptable to use the forums to promote our individual products? – it doesn’t necessarily bug me, but I can see it becoming the dominant type of thread if every single author makes a post about each new product that they have – and it’s a bit redundant with the “recent items” feature of the homepage). Anyways, the new template looks great – good work there

Yes and no. Out and out promotion (like, “Hey buy my new item” ) isn’t really acceptable. If you post a thread like Justin has which basically says, “Hey, I have a new theme, please let me know what you think.” then that’s ok. However, it must be placed in the Item Discussion category. It’s allowed if you want to talk about the item, not just promote it. Thus, the Item Discussion category.

Of course if every author started doing this and it started flooding the category then that might change.
