Giving out a theme for free

As an exclusive author I’m not allowed to sell the theme elsewhere. But what about giving it away for free? Of course I wouldn’t just put up a link to download it, that would be stupid. I’m thinking about things like giving it out as a prize in a contest, giving it away to non-profits… With the hope that this would in turn generate more interest for the theme and drive more people to pay for it.

You can also give me your PSD and I will put them on my blog ( link removed )

There is no problem with ThemeForest if you do not sell a solo version DSP
