Seriously read that book I previously mentioned. Envato market is a passive income, and make sure you have an active one probably starting to get clients here, becase they can instantly see your portfolio here. Freelancing doesn’t mean being a fulltime envato author. Being that is optional. It means all that stuff people wrote before me. BTW Work clever, cross-country, and you might not have to pay that much tax you think. Being at a workplace is a rip-off, you don’t want your employers laughing at you how they made thousands on you and gave you hardly something.

Good luck Sitebase!

You don’t need to be in front of the screen if there’s nothing to do.
Most valid reason! :D

you still have to pay tax but you should go and see an accountant to see what you can offset your tax against with regards to expenses for your business… i’ve offset so much this year that its actually more than my tax ;) :)

I wish I was in your position Sitebase! My dream is to go full freelance and have freedom from working for ‘The Man’. Pick and choose your jobs, work when YOU want to, not having to worry so much about being late or sick, as much holiday leave as you want, getting paid more for you awesomeness, the list goes on!

Good luck with it all! :D

Hm, I’m still having doubts about to choose a new study or go search for a job to combine with my freelance work. Hard choice! But, good luck! :D

It’s been a couple of months now. How is your freelancing going? If I can meet some business goals, I’m hoping to do the same within 5-10 years.
