Greetings to the community. I have a News template that has been rejected under the following reasons:
Unfortunately your submission doesn’t meet our current minimum technical quality requirements for the category it was submitted to. Please consider taking some time to familiarize yourself with our current library and quality levels of popular items before resubmitting.
Good idea but poor execution. I’d suggest you try to get a designer to collaborate.
The first paragraph is the usual answer in many cases but I haven´t found any reference to the last line, which gives me hope that the template can be finally approved.
However, I am aware that I have made a somewhat self-taught theme, without noticing the standards of ThemeForest, and I do not feel encouraged to redo all the work in accordance with those standards defined.
So I was wondering if any experienced designer likes the theme and help me to fulfill the requirements of ThemeForest. I can not pay right now, but would share the benefits that generate template to fifty percent, with signed contract if necessary.
Here is the demo: http://theworld.weblanz.es/
Improve overall aesthetics.
Thanks for the reply, silver530.
Overall aesthetics… that was the first message I received after my first attempt, still here: http://test2.serviclas.com
So I remade the design completely, as you can see: http://theworld.weblanz.es. And now the message was about technical quality, nothing about aesthetics. Maybe you are agree, for me would be very useful to know if there is a problem about aesthetic or just technical quality, so I wonder if is there anybody else that think the same.
Anyway, I think I have to stick more to aesthetics ThemeForest and try a more typical design found here.
I would suggest you trim it down. The first page is overloaded with goodies… to much goodies gets kiddies sick. Focus in to three things that take prominence. Look at the page in the idea of weight. What holds the most weight? What does the user need to see? If they only see one thing, what would that be? Design is very perception based, so start asking yourself this question, How does ThemeForest perceive? BTW , it looks a world different than the original and in a positive way! Keep it up, keep learning you will succeed!
