Goodbye Copy, Hello Feature!

Looks like they got rid of the song they had originally featured that was a copy of a already-popular AudioJungle song and gave us the feature. Was really confused about the late email notification of the feature, but after reading the forums I understood. Who knows how it’ll help us since the item that was chosen is seasonal, but thanks for the exposure anyway, Envato! Just hope that when our feature is ending (end of January), people are still looking for Christmas music… Are there any experienced authors out there that know how long after Christmas that Christmas songs sell?

Thanks for all the congrats. We’re just hoping Envato has some inside information that we don’t have… like that there are a lot of post-Christmas Christmas projects that happen… Otherwise, we wish they would have picked our other best seller… which just so happens to be a unique motivational song… which tend to sell well here. Just would have thought that it would have worked out better for us AND Envato. Who knows…

Has Envato ever allowed input on which song of yours could get featured?

That’s the idea. When a track of mine was featured last year I didn’t really sell that many of it while it was featured. However, the increased exposure had an impact on my entire portfolio weeks later.
