Looks waaay better than FB, just wish it wasn’t Google. They already own like half of the web.
So what??
People will start to loathe Google in the same way they loathe MS. G$$gle anyone?
Except Google actually makes excellent products unlike Microsoft…

Says you and your opinion. There are millions who disagree, especially enterprise business users. I will continue to use Facebook. Nothing against Google (I use many of their products and own an Android phone) but it’s going to take a lot to make me convert.

They can’t compete with facebook, even if their project will be better – it doesn’t matter. Let’s just wait for the next big thing, something more evolutionary that will make facebook look like something old and useless, something that will make millions of people switch in a heartbeat…

Google+ will likely be better, but all your friends will still be on Facebook only. And a social networking site without friends is worthless.

And on the other hand are hipsters like me who stubbornly refuse to use social networks. ;)

Haha. In my defense though, I just retweet and reply to authors from Twitter. I still don’t use a proper social network. I prefer, you know, phone calls and real life visits.

They….watch me. Puts on tinfoil hat

I don’t have anything against google (using Chrome right now), but I just wish there were more small companies, more diversity. I feel that with some exceptions, the web has been becoming increasingly uniform in the last 5-6 years.

Do you remember how crazy the internet went when the invite-only Gmail first launched in 2004? A Gmail invite was the ultimate tech talisman, the golden ticket to email nirvana. Gmail invites were being hawked on EBay for $200! I bet everyone still remember when we got an email from our friends with a Gmail address…we was so jealous LOL .

...so, are there any invites now available for google+ ? :P

Lol. I definitely paid for my first gmail account on ebay. It was only like $5 though.
