It’s probably difficult to measure because December is usually a slow month, but I think it’s safe to assume that CodeCanyon would be effected in the SERP ’s by the jQuery plugin site being down. “plugins.jquery.com” shows a PR of 7 at the moment but this may have been even been higher before (as now it’s void of any content). And losing hundreds of backlinks from a PR7 + site would be a big loss.

Hi everyone,
Remember I made a post 25 days ago about Google dumping one of our top selling plugins to page 2 in the search results…. since that I’ve done absolutely nothing in terms of changing the text on the item page, and now the plugin is back as no. 1 and 2 in Google. 
I find it pretty interesting, but I have no explanation!
