I’m hoping someone here might be able to help with this problem, because the theme developer isn’t responding at all.

We’re using the HORIZON theme by ThemeMakers. I installed the WP Google Fonts plugin by Adrien3, which I’ve used on numerous other WP themes to great success. But, for some reason, on the Horizon theme, changing the font isn’t affecting the live site at all. We’ve tried putting into the Custom CSS (like the plugin’s developer recommended):

container p { font-family: ‘Reenie Beanie’, arial, serif; }

That didn’t work either.

We’ve tried going into the Horizon style.css and changing the font to the Google Web Font I want. Still doesn’t work.

Anyone have some ideas here? Thanks!

Heidi

Could we get a URL to your live site? Might be able to catch something in the CSS .

Thanks for volunteering to troubleshoot, Perfect10.

I’m working on a client website where we need to keep their current site live. So, I’ve modified my host file to allow me to view their new website without interrupting their existing site. If you are so inclined to help, here’s the IP address:

Appreciate it!

(And maybe you know of a better way of keeping a client’s current site live while designing a new WP website than what I’m doing. This was the way that our host, Media Temple, suggested.)

The theme you’re referring uses already Google Webfonts. May that causes the plugin not to work at all. Or it is simply a CSS Rule Conflict.
