GPL Results

Thanks for opening this thread. I already posted my question to notes site, but probably not so many people read it.

What will be the price difference between 100% GPL items and split licensed items? Could you please let us know more details what is planned? This change will affect all existing authors and change the game a little bit. Thanks.

Cool idea! I should reserve the domain as quick as possible!

When someone opts-in for full GPL, it would be better to show them few lines of friendly hints:

- By choosing this License, you are agreeing your buyer to upload/distribute the exact same Template on ThemeForest or elsewhere.
- Please be aware that sending DMCA take down notices towards such implementation has the possibility to end-up paying penalties to the buyer for any damages caused.
- Most probably your buyer will distribute it along with many other themes as bundle for the price of $15.

Hi, anyone know how big wordpress theme companies outside Themeforest deal with license? (Like ‘W’themes, ‘EL’Theme, ‘Y’theme, etc..)

Do they sell their wp themes under GPL too?
