Hey guys, I open this thread because the market is going adrift. I would like to make constructive criticism to our market.
There are too many new users who sign up every day and start to sell ripped items. This is shameful, every day there are thousands.
We need to find appropriate solutions. The reviewers obviously can not remember all the items in the market and therefore do not give the blame on them. But we must also raise the level of this market, there are items, which in addition to being stolen, they are really extremely low level.
The solution with regard to new authors, it would be to insert at the time of enrollment (in addition to acceptance tests) a window where you are linking to its portfolio. By doing so, reviewers or staff, may decide whether or not to accept the new seller.
We have to give a twist to this market because, I repeat, the level fell monstrously.
But it seems that Envato prefer the quantity than the quality.

It’s just to easy to become an author and sell any stuff, there should be definitely some kind of quality check by persons portfolio before becoming an author.
Yes it should be easy as it is now to become buyer, but not a selling author.
Maybe we also made mistake by advertising our works on DeviantArt site, cuz I think we gathered to much wannabea kids from there?

What Gets me really Mad. Is that sometimes I get Files ReJected because they they look like other of my own files .
but then I see peoples RIPIng my Files up for sale and they Let them Right tru.
INDUSTRYKIDZ saidThis is what i called rejection anomalies. Inconsequent, suddenness spilling. Based on subjective decisions. And sometimes the pricing is also the same. The problem is not with the reviewer but in the present system (i would’t call logic) what they have to follow.

Perhaps a fair way to deal with this problem would be in a separate independent discussion forum, like a Public Facebook Page, where authors could openly discuss with one another any items which they feel are plagiarism or copyright violations.
Hopefully it would not devolve into a war zone, but any author could calmly state his/her case, and anyone would be free to give their opinions in support or defence; not in an accusatory way, but an educational way, so that we can all learn where the boundaries are in this very grey area.
Authors would have to link to their portfolios on the page too so that everyone can see how their work has developed to the point of the item concerned. I think the real ‘rippers’ would quickly find themselves in the spotlight.
This would also take the burden off Envato, but they would obviously have access to all the discussions and opinions between professional designers to help direct them to serious issues.
Just my few cents worth as an ‘older’ less flammable ego
Joiaco, i saw a baboon yesterday in the zoo, he painting with his hand and mouth. Seemed like he was painting letters, im not 100% sure, but is that possible they started steeling ideas from you, not only food?

That’s why I’ve completely stopped uploading on this site. “Files look like other files on the site” THAT’S BECAUSE THEY STOLE MY FREEBIE’S AND MODIFIED THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO LOOK AT THE CONTOURS AND YOU WILL SEE “COPYRIGHT XSTORTIONIST” AND THE REVIEWERS LET THIS SHIT GO THROUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
