Codecanyon is very quick, reviewed in 2 days maximum audiojungle have an item sitting on 9 days

yeah! mine are 90% now which means 2 weeks away from 100%.

While I want my files approved as quickly as the next guy does, we all know the issues… Envato staff has clearly stated what the problem is and what they’re doing to fix it and get back on track. If we’re all going through the same thing, I don’t really get why people continue to post redundant comments about how long their uploads are taking to be reviewed. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not hating… it’s just not going to speed things up by taking this thread up to 80 pages of posts, with 90% of everyone’s posts all saying the same thing.
I say just upload them and forget about them 
otherwise it’s like watching water boil. Instead, go create some other amazing thread about an interesting topic.

i guess the rule of thumb is work like retail and always be a season ahead that way you are well planned and able to adapt to problems

I’m new here, so maybe my thoughts don’t count as much..
but anyway, maybe there’s something wrong with my thinking, but with all transparency going on around here (I’m aiming mostly about earned money badges on all of designers profiles) I can’t help but wonder (we all know what are the split percentages between us designers and marketplace owners) that they got tons! of money and they can’t hire decent handful of reviewers on the decent payroll to do the job? like there are no students or freelancers that will do what are paid for? today? with the internet? really?? how come that company this big as envato, after this long of being in business, find themselves in this position short of reviewers? and no, don’t give me that “too many new designers/ripoffs/not quality submissions. how i see it, it’s in their interest to make money, because even within 100s of bad designs, there is one that stands out. and we all know that’s worth something.
Not to mention that every day modern designs get rejected with ‘bla bla generic answers’ not pointing anything specific??! and there are tons of templates 2 years old that looks (pardon me) like a kid did it in ms paint! back in 90’s..on win 95.. review that!
Well, I’m not here to argue, but my opinion is that the job of reviewer is not rocket science, if designer can be up doing his work daily or nightly, so can reviewer, and wont break a bone over having to type a designer few consistent words, while looking through his well sorted submission. I have heard of files got rejected only for being (accidentally) submitted to wrong category. How lazy is that?
I sincerely apologize if I offended anyone. Just thinking out loud. In the end, I do hope that this matter will come to an end soon..and wonder about bodycount, cause not all the people have the patience to wait.

Might be hard rejected (sorry) since only soft rejected items appear in the hidden section.
