Hi everyone,

Quick update here. Training is coming along nicely and we’ve selected two more candidates for hire, hopefully to be completed early next week.

You may have noticed the vectors category has been steadily reducing in turnaround time. This is a direct effect of the additional review capacity we’ve been talking about. You will also start seeing an improvement very soon in turnaround time for the lower volume categories.

As we continue to hire and train additional review capacity we will start seeing turnaround time improvements in the four categories currently moving the slowest:
  • Logos
  • Print Templates
  • Graphics
  • Web Elements

I expect the majority of the categories to have an average review turnaround time of around 5 days by the end of this month and continuing to improve after that.

Thanks everyone!

good to hear that, current review time is loong. :)

Hello Jremick and other Staffs members, I agree with the positive attitude of other authors and I want to congratulate you for improvements done.

I would like to share an idea I had about the reviews. Maybe someone has already said it before, but I will share it also:

I think if someone has demonstrated a high level of experience in the sale of a particular item (such as logos, flayers, web buttons, ...) and has sold a certain amount at good quality, this person only needs to respond to checklist Quiz, as we respond when opening a marketplace, and he o she could put the item on sale without spending Review Time.

I understand that an author experienced in a subject area that has shown his / her implication in the marketplace, deserves the award of credibility to sell without revision. After all he o she will be it’s own self evaluator so it will be more demanding for himself to keep this Badge of experience.

In the other hand, Envato would save time for reviewers, more specialised authors per article, more motivated authors and perhaps this could be a perfect training for future reviewers (you never know :-) )

This is the idea and I hope it can be useful. I also want to encourage all the great authors Who are in this marketplace come up with their ideas, because this marketplace is plenty of talent and creativity. After all we are all together in the same boat sailing this GraphicRiver.

I don’t think I would like that, if they sold with no review process we would see quality of designs drop drastically and we would see a huge rise in copy cat styles for sure, I pray they never drop the review process, plus the review process pushes you to put out your best and only your best content.

I don’t think that many people will come here to buy something if the system is auto-approve. No one will like to waste his money on something that is not properly reviewed (i.e. something he/she is not sure of). Thus, it is a heavy risk and wouldn’t be appropriate.
