The title its a bit to heavy.
Maybe I was waiting for to much but the Author Dashboard its the same as before (or maybe I don’t understand were are the new features
) Apart the “recent comments” and “week stats tab” its the same thing. And the upload tab, ok
I want for example to know how many hits my item gets a day, week, month.
I’m really disappointed about the dashboard.
But I like the design overall.
Before I say anything else, I want to say the new design looks awesome and I appreciate all the hours and efforts put in by the Envato staff and founders.
I kinda feel the same way; I too was hoping for more advanced features for authors such as statistics on traffic, click-through rate, etc and the new dashboard just hasn’t really improved that much yet. Also a product FAQ would have been great…
That said, Envato did mention that not all all new features are implemented yet and we all know they do pay very close attention to the wishes of the community. All in all, i think the new design is a great step forward with still lots of room for improvement.

Like mjnaus said, more features should be coming later this year. So far the design is great, and there are some cool things to do like the “follow author” and “follow thread” options.
All in all, there’s no reason to look back anymore, the redesign is much better than the old one.
Now let’s bug the devs for more features!
EDIT : About the Dashboard, yeah it’s still pretty much useless…

yeah, i’d also like the portfolio page to show my top selling items like it did. also, it would be great to have my thumbnails for “collections” back.

I thought about it, the useless word its a bit to extreme and not reflecting the reality as the dashboard its not useless, please if some admin or mode will change the title of the thread by replacing the word in something more bland like “somewhat disappointing” or something like this, it will be awesome.
