Having a "Designed By" when selling a template?

If i’m selling a template and i keep a small image which says Designed By, is this allowed? I read that its not but what if its easy to remove? and the client can remove it quite easily?

If still not, i can have it in the demo right?

You can put it in there, but you can’t require the buyer to leave it in there. Many people already have text or images that credit the author in the demo and initial download. The rule comes up in regards to buyers removing it, which is something they are allowed to do.

So that means i can have it there, and allow them to remove it if they wish so (which will be the case with everyone :P)
