When adding ut account envato ask for ut username… previously the usual link to a channel was -> http://www.youtube.com/user/username
But now the link to the channel is a bit strange since you can have multiple channels per account… And the username(User Id) is like some sort of a code… ex. mn34hl52kj48jdhsk :)
The link to to channel becomes www.youtube.com/channel/channelID

I am not so sure about the info above but when i add the my username to youtube… It comes

This channel does not exist.

:S

Hi,

Please go to your channel > View as Public > copy your username now :)
The “mn34hl52kj48jdhsk” example is only visible when viewing your account as yourself.

Hope this helps.

Hey, to make things simple :)

You can see your Youtube ID there. Just add that to the marketplace youtube section. :)
Or if you want, you can also set a personalized username for your youtube channel :)
Which would then appear in your url: http://www.youtube.com/user/username

https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/3250431?hl=en take a look here, however if I go there (where uziiuzair said), it gives me a youtube user id which is some random string, and not my actual id which would be pricop2007. That’s odd, I assume this happened since the last YouTube update when they merged it with the shitty Google+.
