I really appreciate your feedback guys! So basically, it appears the following tutorial sites will take me where I want to go:

Well, maybe not all these sites at the same time, but I guess two or three out of them can encompass everything I need?

Your sources are nice, but: Why did no-one mentioned Codecadamy? http://www.codecademy.com/tracks/web

Nice source… I’ll check it out in more details. Does it offer courses for very advanced manipulation of the codes?

I basically learnt development through w3schools and tuts+.
I found the website recently, although I am not completely sure about their course, but you can give it a try: http://www.codecademy.com/

Also, if you like, Full Sail University does have some scholarship programs. I also found it expensive the first time I saw it, but it really is worth the price, and when you get a scholarship, its the best offer.
(The only thing that brought me down were the living expenses. Other than that I was ready and packed to go to Full Sail.)

EDIT:
Oh looks like someone already mentioned CodeAcademy up there :p

Yeah, I get it… I think I’ll follow the free paths for now… Then I’ll see from there. Thanks!
