So I got a theme accepted this morning and I checked a few things and came to the conclusion that the iframe placed on the demo by TF is causing my demo to not show correctly on all mobile devices. The demo works perfectly when you visit the direct link but after the iframe placement, it looks very bad!

I don’t know if I can post the link here but go to my portfolio and have a look at the latest item Litho. If there’s anyone who can help out, it would be GREATLY appreciated!

This problem has been reported before too. As I recall, you can do nothing about it, but I am not that sure.

You need to use custom iframe like most of us do ;)http://themeforest.net/forums/thread/introducing-item-switcher/42612

You can always do what all the top authors do on here and break out of the frame, because at the moment it is allowed. I think :/

You could do something like:

if ( window.location != window.parent.location ) {
   top.location = self.location.href;
  }

Would a custom iframe fix the issue 100%?

Yeah, I need some type of confirmation by the staff that something like that is allowed. I could contact support but that could take a week if they message me back at all. It’s pretty urgent as it’s a new theme and you know what they say about first impressions.

According to this, you can break out of the header, it was a mistake about rejecting because of this.

I am not sure if you have to replace with another header, here is the staff member saying no item will be rejected for this.

Any idea if it would work? I’m seriously considering taking my theme down as I hate how the iframe has basically killed weeks of work. Getting some exposure on the homepage is a very important aspect so I’ve spent a lot of time making sure my themes are pixel-perfect and now this. Ugh!

I break out of the iframe on a couple of my themes, and put a custom iframe in myself, this way you can make sure nothing happens to the theme.

We have tried it but whatever iframe it is, it doesn’t up correctly and I don’t really know what to do now. I have tried adding a simple buy now button which seemed to have worked but I don’t like the way the theme is presented. I’d love to hear it if there is another solution.
