Only buy from Dell company:

HD: 500GB RAM: 8GB LCD: 17” to 21” so….

If you budget is so low, you can buy a second hand one.

Only buy from Dell?

Jo, there are plenty of other options out there.

Asus has the lowest 3 year hardware failure rates in laptops of ANY company, including apple. I would highly suggest picking up an ASUS with the appropriate specs.

Hi,

It would be helpful if you told us what kind of graphics work you do. Do you work with Photoshop or Blender or something in between? There are vastly different hardware requirements and recommendations depending on what sort of graphics you do and what programs you use.

I also have Asus computers and I like them.

I think there are some several option, ASUS with The N-Series ( i use this ) mine was N43S spec IntelCore I5,HDD 500GB, Geforce 630M-2GB, 4GB Memory upgrade to 8GB, Best performance laptop i ever had , it’s been 2 years and no battery power leak so far, can play battlefield 3 at 40 – 60 fps with high setting. if you seek for low cost laptop with many feature etc.., then pick acer but lifespan of this brand was worst, from my experience if you seek for longer lifespan i prefer Asus, Sony Vaio, Toshiba. I’m not including Apple because i never use it, and for Dell, well my friend have it but his laptop has been broken in just 1,5 year due to mainboad problem.
