Help please. And forgive my ignorance.

Hi folks. A little help before I dive in please. I have an iWeb website that looks a little tired and I want to buy a premium wordpress theme and upload via FTP to my own host and use my own URL (ie not a Wordpress URL).

Question 1: is this possible? Question 2: is it much harder to operate than iWeb?

I don’t know what iWeb is, but WordPress themes sold here are for use only on your own WordPress installations (not WordPress.com), so you should be good to go. You can also try installing WordPress and some free theme from WP repository on a test domain / your local server just to test how WordPress works and see if you like it.

Thanks Pogoking. That sounds like a great idea. I’ll give one of the free themes a test drive and if I like it, I’ll buy a premium one. iWeb is like adobe dream weaver for complete idiots btw.
