on one of my customers sites, the links go to wrong pages in I.E 8. when you click on a nav link, it loads the page, then after a few seconds the page reloads off site to some other random place. Anyone know what this is about? The site is wordpress driven. Purchased template from here. But it’s nothing that was added to the template. the site has been up for some time.

What I noticed is that after you load the page with IE8 , the status bar still says “48 items remaining” and it loads them for maybe 30 seconds but nothing seems to change.

Are you also aware of this?

Interesting, McAfee prompts me with a virus alert, it seems to think a javascript file is infected (00000d44.js). I had a quick scan through the source code and see no reference to this file., but every time I open the page I get the same warning from McAfee.

I’m getting the same error, did not continue though as I am on a public computer at the moment.

I have not seen that error yet. I am downloading the files from the public_html folder right now. After I download all of them, I will try a search for 00000d44.js. I will let you know if I find it

I found it. There was a javascript file being called from the header.php file. It was a really really long line of code. I won’t list it here for obvious reasons. but once I deleted it from the template file, it went away

Here at home I get no warnings and it appears to load without issue.

Saying that, I don’t have McAfee at home, just AVG and that hasn’t prompted with any virus warning.

Looks safe now :)
