Hi everyone, I’m working on a stationery mockup but i’m having some issues with the smart objects. See the image below :
I’m working on the letterhead and i have already added a smart object on it. When i edit it and add a few text, they appear blurry/jaggy on the mockup. How can i fix this?
Thanks in advance for your help! Regards, Krishley
Try Photoshop>Preferences>General>go to Image Interpolation>select Bilinear
See if it helps.
I tried that but now the text becomes more blurry. I don’t know but maybe i’m not adding the smart object correctly. Here’s how i do it :
1. I open the mockup image in PhotoShop and draw an A4 size rectangular shape on it. 2. I then select this rectangular shape and go to Layer > Smart Objects > Convert to Smart Object. 3. At this stage the rectangular shape is quite big so i press on the shift button and resize it a bit. 4. Then i hold the Ctrl button and move each point around the rectangular shape to the edge of the A4 paper on the mockup.
Am i doing this correctly?
Are you pasting the text inside the smart object before you resize it?????
No. This is done after the 4 steps i listed above. Once i have the smart object over the A4 paper, i simply double click on it in the layer panel and then i add the text.
How do you add smart objects to your mockups?
What version of Photoshop are you using? I have came across several forum posts that mentioned problems with smart objects in CS6 if you google it you might find a way to fix it
