I have been trying to get hold of the author of the Clava theme: Theme profuse to help me with short code on his theme. Can someone help me contact him or help me with the Clava theme? Thanks in advance. Paula Jo Nyman

I have tried several times to email him on his profile page. I have received no response. I have even tried sending him a tweet. All to no avail. Paula Jo

The first email I sent on her profile page was a week ago. I just sent another today. On the product page I posted a comment which was never answered. Other comments after mine were answered but not mine. The documentation she included was not very helpful. I don’t know all that much about shortcodes so I did some research looking up a half dozen articles online. I have tried various combinations of shortcodes based on her documentation and my research but nothing works. If you have any suggestions at all I would love to hear them.

Perhaps you can help me? In her documentation she states that to add accordions to a page use: This may be a common way to write out shortcodes but I am just learning so I don’t recognize it. What do the 3 dots mean? Does it mean that I put all my content in between the 2 bits of code that I want in the accordions? I tried this and it did not work. What am I doing wrong? If I put just the code without the dots and without content all I see is the code right on my page. It’s hard to describe this in a post but I hope you get the idea of what I have been trying to do.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. If it would be more help to correspond via email here is my addy: pjnluvs2scrap@yahoo.com or I could even share my cell # in an email if talking on the phone would be easier. You are the only one to reach out and help so I really appreciate this.

I see my code did not post. I will try using some HTML to format it. This is the code she included in her documentation:

[accordions2]...[/accordions2]

Hi, thanks for your help. I did try that but then when I viewed my page all I saw was my content and no accordions. Do you have any other ideas?

EdIt: need to see the editor to explain it

Do you mean the editor in the WP dashboard? Which file do you need to see? Is it the functions.php file? I looked at that and one thing I saw was that she used [accordions]...[/accordions] in the functions.php file but in her documentation page she used [accordions2]...[/accordions2] I tried both accordions and accordions2. When I use accordions2 all I get are the words accordions2 along with my content. When I use accordions I get my content but not in any accordions. Do you want me to make you a temporary user on my site so you can see it and play around? That would be so cool if you would. I am so frustrated and I want to get this site up and running for daughter.
