Hello all,

I have recently purchased this theme:

SiliconApp – Desktop / Mobile Software product

I am attempting to customize this and implement it for my company website. I am completely lost on how to make the contact form work. I have been able to tailor the rest of the template to my needs.

Does anyone have an example or a starting point to direct me to so I can have have the form work and send emails to my company inbox ?

Contact the author of the theme and they should be able to tell you how.

Does the contact form work in general and you only don’t know where to edit the email address? Or is the whole form broken?

I have contacted the author and they responded with:

WebCrafters’ reply reads:

Hi,

The contact form doesn’t work because its an HTML template, and we don’t have the skills to make it work, but we suggest trying to find a developer on the forums to help you with that.

Regarding the psd files, we’ve made them in CS3 , so I’m guessing is only a compatibility issue and if you upgrade your Photoshop it will work ok.

Cheers and thanks for the support.

Hello thanks for responding… the developers response was:

I am a software developer by trade and would probably be able to deciper the html and change the email address if there was existing code but there is none. I am a little disappointed… Perhaps I misread what i was purchasing. I thought there would be code attached and included with the template.

I will look at it and thanks very much.

I have been writing software for almost 20 years (I’m old ha ha) so with a working example I should be able to figure it out. If not I will hire you.

I am trying to get 2 simple ecommerce web sites working. Thanks again.
