I have four pictures in the content area of my site that I want to link to a page. But I do not want the pages to show up in the nav area. I have the nav set up right now as wp_list_pages. I want to hand code the links for the pictures in the content area and when clicked, have them go to a page in wordpress. How do you recommend doing this? I still want the pages to show up in the page area in the admin area so that they can easily be edited using the tools there. I know how to create custom pages using Template Name: page name. But if i do that then I still have to create the page in the admin area and point it to that page template. back to square one of keeping the page name out of the nav area.

Solved. I found the exclude command in the wordpress docs

so I have wp_list_pages(‘exclude=id of page&title_li=’)
