Help with my pc :(

Hi guys,

lately I’m pretty unlucky with my pc… today I turned it on and the raid system failed… I mean both the 2hd fails at startup and obviously the os doesn’t boot.

Now I’ve installed on my usb pen redo backup & recovery and I made the image of my data (3 partitions).

Now I’m lost… what to do? Reset the hd and forget about the raid system? But if I do this will I be able to recover my data from the image I made?

I know this isn’t very clear, I’m not a pc expert… so hopefully if someone understands something and can help me I would be very thankful…

I strongly suggest that you should call one of those it guys who handle this kind of stuff, you know those guys who always carry around CD/DVDs and they can fix/install/reinstall anything . You might also wanna try to boot with an ubuntu live CD , at least to save your stuff or read the errors and google it with other computer, it might give u the solutions, happened to me once, I have fixed it but I don’t even know how.

already made an image of everything using a linux installation on a pen drive… now I’m melting the hard drives and later I will try to recover everything…

I have a mac… but I’ve been a little disappointed by the hardware… then the same configuration of my pc would cost the double and more…
