I need some help to fix the transparency of png file integrated in html page. PNG files are the good format to keep transparency but with internet explorer 6 and maby with other browsers the PNG will not keep a nice transparency. I would like to know if someone can help me out to find how I can keep a nice transparency with PNG images on all browsers like Firefox, Internet explorer, Safari, Opera and Konqueror of all versions.
Thanks for your help in advance. I like Flashden community because many people are ready to help others

5 Easy Ways to Tackle IE6 ’s Transparency Issues – net.tuts I prefer the DD_BelatedPNG fix.
I have tried with unitpngfix but when i test my page with IETester the image doesn’t appear and the path to the js file is good and also the path to the clear.gif in the script.
I have put this code in the header of my page<!—[if IE 6 ]> <![endif]—>
Someone can help you ? Do I have to put some other code to make this work ?
My png image is inserted in a img tag with a src, do I have to insert the image into a div or call a function or something ?
you obviously didn’t pay attention to this:
Next, add “clear.gif” to your images folder, and open unitpngfix.js. On the first line, make sure that the path correctly points to “clear.gif” [relative to the root, not the script folder].
it’s relative to ROOT , not the script folder. so if your image is in “root:images” folder, put:
darius9000 : Yes I did that and it’s all ok.
I dunno why the images don’t show maby because I test with IETester and it doesn’t work with this tester.
