Help with rejected item improving

My wordpress theme was rejected (i think i’m not alone ;{)

I sent my humble request for few more precision details, and in the meantime i was curious of your opinions (more experienced authors).

I will be more than gratefull for that.

You have a really nice start

I’m not a big fan of the menu and buttons, I mean the gradient could be more subtle and in the drop down for example, I wouldn’t go to black at the bottom of each item. Same for the buttons.

Some other thoughts :

• Space under headings (typography page) would look better
• This white with dark inner shadow used for fields / text area doesn’t fit in the design for me (search field and contact form)
• Spacing in the footer (the first line sticks to the top and there’s a huge space right after
• Some space under each blog post image

It looks like the image loader you’re using doesn’t work well.

The URL is not working. Have you taken it off ?

Agree with Keliah, you’ve got a nice start there

My remark is color scheme: you should try to lower the saturation of the brown elements and try to make all of them “fit” better.

@FullTank – thanks for opinion, altough I thought the paternized buttons/elements will give a unique feel to this theme…

Nice template but I believe you can’t redisitribute Garamond font with Cufon so you’ll probably have to resolve this issue – otherwise I don’t think it will be accepted because of breaking the license terms.
