Help with Shots Template

Hello there, I’m new on website creation but somehow managed to purchase and install the right template to my web address. I purchased the Shots template but have a few questions on what to add to the “pages” and what to add to the “portfolio” categories. To exemplify, I wanted my website (www.children-photos.co.uk) to have the same look/ layout/ navigation as my blog (www.kidsphotos.wordpress.com) Could anyone shine some light on this please?
