@SpyroPress – Your builder looks heavily inspired by this one. Was it?

My favorite WordPress framework is definitely my own. Reason being, I built the options based on the repeated requests for certain functionality from clients as well as the most common tasks I faced when building themes/skins for people.

My framework is called Volatyl. It has NO design options as it focuses on HTML structure as a WP framework should. It’s FULLY responsive, to include responsive support for drop down menus. It has a built-in hooks interface with built-in conditionals. It has 7 different layout configurations. It allows Post/Page specific sidebars as well.

Volatyl’s focus is to give you control of your HTML structure without having to write PHP… even though you can if you’d like to. It’s packed with hooks and filters for complete customization. To make things even easier, instead of creating child theme designs, I create what I like to call Child Theme Skeletons. They’re child theme starters that dramatically change the style/structure of Volatyl in different ways.

Volatyl is about as easy to use as it gets. I didn’t want to complicate anyone’s life with it. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Also, our builder is different bcoz we can target template hierarchy with the drag and drop layout.
