I really like the Media Consult theme here: http://themeforest.net/item/media-consult-business-portfolio-and-blog-theme/63330
However, I would like to use it with Wordpress. I confess that I’m not much of a coder at all, so I did some searching and discovered that an xhtml/css theme can be converted into a Wordpress theme, but it’s beyond my capabilities. Is anyone here able to do that at a reasonable price?

You could try one of the many conversion sites out there, or post what you think is reasonable here. You’ll get more interest that way

disecting the HTML template then coding in the wordpress functions takes a bit of time , I think 50$ pushing it for 2/3 days.
You’d probably be looking at at least 5 hours work (disection, coding, testing etc) and i am sure a lot of designers here probably charge in the region of $50 per hour.
If your able to up that to at least $300 for the end of the week then you’ll probably get more interest , I’d even do it for that, would be around 6 hours of my time.

$50 is just insulting. Seriously, I charge 20 times this for wordpress sites – and just a bit under for non-custom Wordpress integration as I generally end up recoding an html version before porting to wordpress anyway.
Anyone who does this type of work for $50 either loves charity work, is a complete amateur, or down right crazy IMHO .
