Hiring Junior Web Designer - London

We are looking for a web designer, from recent graduate to 3 years experience, to join our front-end web development team.

Opportunity to join an experienced and well-funded team and be part of the exciting build-up stage. We are developing cutting-edge business applications in a cloud-based Google-Apps environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- degree in web design or equivalent - strong knowledge of HTML (HTML5), CSS and Image Editing - meticulous in design work and eye for good web design - keen interest in web development and Internet technology - must be able to demonstrate a portfolio of past work - knowledge in use of Javascript and JQuery

JOB OPPORTUNITY

- exposure to cutting-edge cloud-based development - experience of working in an Agile work flow with experts in different fields - fast-paced environment with strong culture of innovation and learning - potential to grow into senior role and share in equity upside

Responsabilities:

- Design Front & Backend Interface - Manage submitted Designs - Template Design and quality control

REMUNERATION

- base salary from £22k to £26k per annum subject to capability/experience - potential for equity share within 6 months

Must be eligible to work in the UK and work from our premises. Our offices are in a recently converted, beautiful old factory/warehouse in central London.

What’s a degree in web design!? I made something like this in 2002 where my final work was a table based website

In the UK, there area a number of Universities offering Web Design/Web Development courses.

This is not a requirement if you have a strong portfolio.

As this is a Junior position, if you dont have a strong portfolio, but have completed one of these types of courses, then we would still like you to apply.
