This might be off topic, but I’m curios: How come there is an item from 2010 in the featured spot? I thought only new items can be featured?

I just saw that the author of the featured item is also the ‘featured author’.

The fact here is that everybody want more space than all the others, because a theme in the home for more time means more sales.

But as already said, when you is a red paw seller with 1 month in ThemeForest, you really want to stay at the home, you really want to sell also.

The authos that sells better don’t want to talk that we need improve the quality (the quality here is really high, who here got your first theme approved in the first try?) – but yes support “younger” authors to improve the work.

The featured author OR featured week file is a example, when you don’t have a file there, you want more space to show your theme. When one of your files is featured, you want a banner only for you and that you stay there all the month hahahaha

Everybody here is trying get some money, let’s keep working, IF you do a awesome job it’ll sell staying at the home or not.

@bloooming – or maybe, did a hard job in more than just one theme, so deserves be the Featured Author

Check the changelog of this theme version v2.0 was released 25 June 2012 – and it’s pretty awesome theme worth featuring.

Still, featuring items coz of update that have already been featured, its not the point of being a great item… its the point of giving other people with great items a chance.

Or maybe i am wrong?

There is no doubt about the quality of the item, and I’m sure the author deserves to be featured as well.

But, is it really necessary to use up two spots on the front-page for the same item, especially since front-page exposure became so limited?
