Hi all, We developed Wordpress themes based on Gantry Template Framework. However with the latest version of Gantry, there are a lot of notices which will appear if you turn on WP_DEBUG. Is this still valid as there are no notices inside our themes? If not, how can we overcome this?
In addition, if we install third-party plugins to configure our demo page and these plugins have notice messages also, is our theme considered valid?
Since you’re using the framework all together with your theme it must pass the WP-DEBUG Test – so NO Notices – even if they’re coming from the framework. To overcome this you would either remove all those notices or use a different framework.
Notices from a plugin which you use on your demo shouldn’t be a problem since you don’t pack them with your product.
Thanks @infuse01,
but seriously? I see some themes on Themeforest that is Gantry-based. I guest there must be a way to overcome that because Notices come from Gantry core cannot be fixed by theme.
